Our Story

The Pump Warehouse has been helping New Zealanders with their water pump and filtration needs since 2006 — that is over 20 years of specialised expertise that you simply will not find at a hardware chain or general plumbing supplier.

We started out as Pumps Online, a pure e-commerce business selling pumps across New Zealand. As the business grew and our customer relationships deepened, we recognised that many pump problems truly benefit from in-person expertise — seeing the pump, understanding the water source, assessing the pressure requirements. So we opened our first physical store.

That store became The Pump Warehouse — a name chosen deliberately to reflect that we are not just an online catalogue, but a real business with real stock, real experts, and real stores where you can get real help. Today we operate from two stores: Auckland (Rosedale) and Hamilton (Frankton).

What Makes Us Different

We are specialists, not generalists. Every member of our team understands pumps and water systems in depth. When you call us or walk into one of our stores, you are talking to someone who can diagnose your problem, recommend the right solution, and explain why — not someone who is reading off a product spec sheet.

We carry real stock. We hold over 500 pump models across our two stores. That means you can walk out with the right pump today — not wait a week for something to arrive from a supplier.

We service what we sell — and everything else. Unlike many pump retailers who only handle sales, we also repair and service all brands of pumps. Our technicians carry out installations across the Auckland and Waikato regions.
